There is something romantic about coffee.
Something that is intrinsic to the drink.
From beginning to end
it is about connection.
I am unaware,
and I'm sure this is my fault and not the world's,
but I am unaware of anything that can bring people from all over the world so close,
in a material way.
That's why we love farmers too.
And craftsman of all sorts.
We want connection.
We want to know the people
and be connected to the people who make our life what it is.
Coffee has it's own words,
a whole catalog of descriptors and classifiers.
It brings you out of your daily, regular life,
the life outside.
And instead you can burrow down
into this small cup of coffee
with it's detailed, complex flavors and aromas,
and focus - that oh so forgotten task - on one thing.
We love good coffee. We love the things that make good coffee good. We want to share the things we love with others.
